Job Description:

Cedarcroft Place Retirement Residence is looking for Unregulated Care Provider who will fill the role of an Assistant Director of Care temporarily.

As the Assistant Director of Care you will be accountable to the Director of Care for the day to day management of the nursing department and resident care services. You will ensure the delivery of optimal care and services.

Requirements:

• Possess a UCP or PSW certificate
• Current First Aid/CPR certificate
• Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing is desirable
• Must have knowledge of the nursing process
• Post-graduate studies in geriatrics is desirable
• Must have good leadership and communication skills
• Possession of skill in planning, coordinating, and supervising a comprehensive nursing care program
