As a Registered Practical Nurse you would work within the full scope of practice and provide professional nursing care to residents on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing phlebotomy as needed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with daily living activities for patients in various settings, including nursing homes and hospitals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using electronic health record systems like Epic or Cerner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
• Possession of current First Aid/CPR certificate.
• Experience in geriatric, long-term care, or retirement residence, is desirable.
• Maturity, empathy, patience, and professionalism.
