Job Description:

Fox Hollow Retirement Residence is looking for a part time Cook to join our team!

As the Cook, you would prepare the food for each meal as outlined on the menu. You would be responsible for ensuring that the food is prepared in proper manner and presented to the residents in a way that is appetizing in both taste and appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed.
• Serve meals to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in inventory management and the ordering of kitchen supplies as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have a Food Handling Certificate.
• Must have experience in quantity food preparation.
• Must be familiar with the use of kitchen equipment.
• Experience with pleasant dining and serving.
• Experience working with the elderly is an asset.
