Job Description:

College Park I Retirement Residence is now accepting applications for the position of:

Dishwasher

As the Dishwasher you would be responsible for ensuring all dishes, cutlery, and other miscellaneous items washed and properly stored. Responsible to record breakage of dishes during their shift. Loads, operates and empties dishwasher using proper dishwashing procedures, using both a dishwasher and hand washing as needed. Damp mop floors as needed during shift and after shift. Ensures workspace and tabletops in workspace are clean and sanitized. Cleans top of dishwasher and inside- ensure that area is clean. Performs all duties in a clean and sanitary manner in accordance with cleaning schedule. Adheres to Infection Control policies. Performs other duties and functions as requested.

You will report to Housekeeping Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Knowledge to be able to understand the proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow-out orders
• Ability to work accurately and quickly.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Good Physical and Mental Health.
